A few of you have written to say you enjoyed the video of the new Conex storage container's arrival and placement, and to ask just how huge it looks in the Kennel yard. So, we thought we'd share the answer with everybody.
Because the Conex is tucked the long way back beside the pole barn, you can only see its end as you enter the Kennel. It really doesn't look much larger from this view than the old feed storage shed that you can see front and center.
The view from the top floor of the house tells a slightly different story, as you can see that the Conex extends quite a ways back into the woods behind the pole barn. Not many people will see it from there, and even if they did it really doesn't look too out of scale.
The big thing, though, is just how useful the Conex is for storage. In case you ever wanted to know, this is what 4 TONS of dog food looks like:
If you look way in the back, you'll see it's even big enough to hold a few of the Team's racing sleds… Keeping them nice and neat, ready for some serious action coming up pretty soon!Labels: About the Kennel, Macgellan
