Iditariders are people who pay thousands of dollars to ride in an Iditarod musher's sled during the Ceremonial Start. It's a great ride I'm sure, but it's also "out of reach" for most folks. So, Aliy wanted to film it and share it with you, kind of like a "virtual" Iditarider. I mounted one of my cameras on her sled like we've done for some other videos on the Dog Log, and -- in addition to everything else she had to do during the Ceremonial Start -- Aliy filmed the ride for you!
